Fishy Intervals is such a fun way to learn and review both harmonic and melodic intervals 2nds through 12ths.
Using a wiggly fishing pole, players “fish” for intervals and name whether it is harmonic or melodic and what the interval is (and they can play it on the piano or musical instrument too).
There are THREE different levels included... each a different color
(so you don’t have to pick out by hand the ones that are too easy or too hard and you can use all the colors in a large group and simply tell each student which color they have to pick)
LEVEL 1- 2nds, 3rds, 4ths, & 5ths - Notes from bass C to treble G - (16 total cards)
LEVEL 2- 6ths, 7ths, & 8ths - Bass clef notes from low F to B and treble clef notes from A to high G - (12 total cards)
LEVEL 3- 9th, 10th, 11th & 12ths - Ledger line notes below, in the middle, and above the grand staff! - (16 total cards)
Each interval is cut out in the shape of a whale with with a small eye that the magnet attracts.
Play one on one or in a group!
Play for as short or as long as you like!
